Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • Coarse salt for topping

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar.

Mix in flour and salt to form dough; knead until smooth.

Let rise for 30 minutes, then shape into pretzels.

Boil in baking soda water for 30 seconds each.

Bake at 425°F for 12-15 minutes, sprinkle with salt.
