Ingredients

Cook Mode
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix in flour, salt, and olive oil to form a dough.

Knead for 10 minutes until elastic. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour.

Shape into a loaf, place on a baking sheet, and let rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake with steam (add water to a pan in oven) for 40 minutes until golden.
